I started carnivore in January 2019 after having been formally diagnosed with PCOS. I wanted to see if it would also help with my lifelong struggle with IBS, eczema & depression. Since carnivore, I’ve had zero IBS symptoms and my PCOS is in remission with regular monthly cycles and ovulation. I’ve been off of all medications for depression, anxiety and insomnia. Eczema is kept at bay as long as I don’t consume dairy. The Carnivore diet is largely frowned upon by most doctors & the mainstream, so maintaining this lifestyle takes a lot of support and encouragement - even when you have the irrefutable proof of marked improved health!

After years of following a paleo approach, and one year of following a ketogenic approach, I decided to cut out everything but meat in August of 2017. I'm a fan of the carnivore diet. I don't think it's the first place for everybody to start but the results that people are getting in the autoimmune scene are really impressive. I would not be surprised at all if some iteration of a carnivore intervention ends up proving to be more efficacious than Autoimmune Paleo.

The carnivore diet may prove to be one of the most important nutritional interventions to date.
